Care

MBC desires to assist those in need within our congregation with compassion and care to help them move forward on their journey in becoming a fully devoted follower of Jesus Christ. Our Care Team works at meeting the physical and financial needs of individuals in our church and individuals or families closely linked to attenders of MBC. Other responsibilities of the Care Ministry include visiting those in our church body who are in the hospital or are unable to get out of their homes.

CARE TEAM MINISTRY

The purpose of the MBC Care Team is to follow the Biblical mandate to provide financial and physical help for those within our congregation and those individuals or families closely linked to attenders of MBC who find themselves in financial difficulty. A special CARE offering is received in MBC offering boxes or in the office, to fund and provide for this special assistance ministry. The MBC Care Team also strives to meet physical needs of those in the MBC Church Body, their family and friends. You can contact our Laurie Stuck, our Care Ministries Pastor, for more information at (509) 966-6500 or at lstuck@mbcyakima.com

HOSPITAL VISITATION

The Hospital Visitation ministry involves taking the time to visit those in our church body who have gone through a crisis and are in the hospital. This would involve briefly visiting to listen, pray, read Scripture and encourage. We train volunteers to be brief, 10 minutes or less, when visiting the hospital.
